Busser/Server Assistant

Duties

• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
• Support food handling processes, including setting up stations, delivering dishes, and refilling beverages with care and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly
• Help with catering events or special functions by preparing serving stations and ensuring smooth service flow
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service efforts and address guest needs promptly
• Support kitchen staff by transporting dishes, utensils, or supplies as needed to ensure timely service
• Uphold health and safety standards through proper food handling practices and adherence to sanitation protocols

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic understanding of food handling procedures and safety standards in a restaurant or hotel setting
• Reliable with a positive attitude, eager to contribute to a lively team environment
• Experience working in the food industry or hotel environment is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning equipment
