Busser/Server Assistant

This position is at a Golf & Country Club in the Grille and Dining Room. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to our members and guests. The ideal server assistant candidate will be passionate about food and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our members, will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a server assistant in a bustling, fast-paced dining room with delivery service and orders taking.

Essential Job Function

• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
• Perform basic cleaning task as needed or directed by the supervisor to include clean, clear and reset tables promptly and professionally.
• Refill water, bread and coffee as needed.
• Fill in if a server is absent as needed
• Assist servers with special events as needed
• Promptly address customer service issues and refer members to management when needed
• Team player is a must

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, and crouch; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. At times, may be required to operate a motor vehicle.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.41 - $18.43 per hour
