Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist servers by bussing tables efficiently to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Support bartenders and servers with beverage service, including pouring drinks, handling drink orders, and restocking supplies
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations by adhering to sanitation protocols
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all food industry safety standards are met

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in bussing, serving, host/hostess roles or cashiering is highly desirable
