Busser/Server

Table Clearing: Quickly and efficiently clear and reset tables once guests have finished their meals, ensuring that used dishes, glassware, and utensils are removed promptly.

Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops, and sweeping.

Dish Collection: Collect dirty dishes and used utensils from tables and transport them to the dishwashing area, ensuring the efficient flow of dirty dishes out of the dining area.

Stocking Supplies: Keep the dining area stocked with essential supplies such as clean tableware, condiments, napkins, and beverages.

Assisting Waitstaff: Assist waitstaff as needed, including helping them with beverage refills, bread service, and delivering orders to tables.

Guest Assistance: Provide excellent customer service by promptly attending to guests' requests for additional utensils, napkins, or any other dining-related needs.

Bussing Stations: Maintain a well-organized bussing station with clean trays, bins, and bus tubs to ensure efficient bussing of tables.

Communication: Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff to coordinate the flow of dishes and ensure a smooth dining experience.

Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of dirty dishes and adherence to personal hygiene standards.

Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow bussers, servers, and kitchen staff to create a positive work environment and contribute to the overall success of the establishment.

Support Special Events: Assist in the setup and cleanup of special events, banquets, or private parties held at the establishment.

Multitasking: Be prepared to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during busy shifts, prioritizing tasks based on immediate needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a Server is a plus but not always required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry trays and bus tubs.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as restaurant hours may vary.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.

A Server role is crucial in maintaining the overall cleanliness and efficiency of a dining establishment, contributing to a positive dining experience for guests and supporting the restaurant's staff.
