Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and properly set for new guests
• Assist servers by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently while adhering to sanitation standards
• Support food service staff with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of trays or supplies using safe lifting practices
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnovers and guest needs
• Handle internal communication smoothly to ensure seamless service flow
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards throughout all duties to promote a hygienic environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and table setting techniques
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Customer service mindset with a positive attitude and energetic approach
• Experience with catering or hospitality industries is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
