Job Overview

Join our team at Dionysus, a local favourite Greek restaurant in Southgate. We’re looking for an experienced Butcher / Chef with strong meat preparation skills to join our busy kitchen team. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Working Days: Fridays & Saturdays are a must. Service ends at 11pm on these days. We are closed on Sundays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, portion and cut meat to the restaurant’s required specifications.
• Ensure meat is handled, stored and prepared safely and correctly.
• Assist with food preparation and cooking as required.
• Maintain consistency, quality and portion control.
• Keep preparation areas, knives and equipment clean and organised.
• Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous butchery, meat preparation and/or relevant chef experience is essential.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat preparation.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Reliable, organised and a strong team player.

Pay: £14.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
