Butcher

We are a friendly, customer-focused butcher's shop committed to providing high-quality fresh meat and excellent customer service. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, trim, and package meat products.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide excellent service.
• Operate meat-cutting equipment safely.
• Receive and store deliveries.
• Keep displays well-stocked and attractively presented.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Working hours

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
• 7am-4pm
• 30 minutes lunch break

Requirements

• Previous experience as a butcher or in food retail is preferred but not essential (training can be provided).
• Good knife skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for manual handling tasks.
• Knowledge of food hygiene regulations is an advantage.
