We’re looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Butcher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the craft properly, working alongside an award-winning butcher in a busy, professional shop known for exceptionally high standards.

You’ll receive hands-on training in:

* Traditional butchery and knife skills

* Cutting, boning and preparing different meats

* Sausage, burger and bacon production

* Developing new and exciting products

* Counter presentation and customer service

* Food safety, hygiene and stock control

* Maintaining an exceptionally clean and organised workplace

We don’t expect you to arrive knowing everything. What matters is that you’re reliable, eager to learn and take pride in your work. Butchery requires commitment, attention to detail and high standards—but for the right person, it can become a rewarding career for life.

Following the successful completion of your probationary period, you’ll be enrolled in a recognised butchery apprenticeship programme through the Scottish association, allowing you to work towards professional qualifications while earning and gaining practical experience.
