Position Title: Private Butler - Ultra High-Net-Worth Private Residence

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Reports To: Principal / Family Office Representative

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly polished Private Butler to oversee the day-to-day operations of a prestigious private residence in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background from luxury hospitality, particularly within 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, or high-end Food & Beverage operations , combined with a commitment to delivering exceptional service standards.

Experience managing private households for Ultra High-Net-Worth (UHNW) families is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless household operations, managing domestic staff, coordinating events, maintaining service excellence, and delivering a discreet, personalized experience for the family and their guests.

Important Note: Live-in role at the residence. 6 days working week.

Key Responsibilities

Household Operations

• Manage all aspects of daily household operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Develop and implement luxury service standards across the residence.
• Oversee housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, security, drivers, chefs, and other domestic staff.
• Ensure the residence is maintained to the highest standards at all times.

Staff Management

• Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise household employees.
• Prepare duty rosters, manage performance, and coordinate staff schedules.
• Foster a culture of professionalism, discretion, and excellence.
• Conduct regular training on hospitality and guest service standards.

Hospitality & Guest Experience

• Deliver a 5-star hospitality experience for family members and guests.
• Coordinate VIP visits, family gatherings, private events, and special occasions.
• Manage dining service, table settings, food presentation, and overall guest experience.
• Liaise with chefs and external suppliers to ensure exceptional catering and service delivery.

Vendor & Service Provider Management

• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, maintenance companies, and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor service quality.
• Ensure timely maintenance and preventive care of household assets.

Budget & Inventory Management

• Monitor household expenses and budgets.
• Manage procurement of household supplies, luxury goods, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and control stock levels.

Travel & Lifestyle Coordination

• Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and special requests for the family.
• Support lifestyle management requirements as needed.
• Ensure residences are fully prepared before and after family travel.

Compliance & Confidentiality

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety requirements, and household policies.
• Handle sensitive matters with professionalism and sound judgment.

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in luxury hospitality, preferably within 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, or premium F&B operations .
• Proven experience in leadership roles such as:
• House Manager
• Residence Manager
• F&B Manager
• Restaurant Manager
• Butler Manager
• Guest Relations Manager
• Hotel Operations Manager
• Strong understanding of luxury service standards and VIP guest management.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and people management skills.
• High degree of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
• Valid driving license preferred.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience working for a UHNW family, royal household, private office, or family office .
• Butler or luxury hospitality training from recognized institutions.
• Experience managing large residences and multicultural household teams.
• Knowledge of fine dining service, protocol, and etiquette.
