Buyer

As a Temporary Buyer,you will support procurement and purchasing activities on a short-term basis, ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement within a dynamic environment.

You will report directly to our Procurement Manager and you’ll work out of our Vancouver, BC location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will contribute to maintaining smooth procurement operations, helping secure quality materials and services that support our business objectives during your tenure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in processing purchase orders, obtaining quotes, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Support supplier evaluation and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in identifying procurement needs.
• Supplier Invoice Resolution – address and resolve issues related to supplier invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 1-2 years or some experience or exposure to procurement or purchasing activities.
• Invoice and accounting resolution experience.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Familiarity with procurement software or tools is advantageous. SAP experience an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
