Buyer

The Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of goods, materials, equipment, and services required for company operations. Ensures effective sourcing, cost efficiency, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

• Coordinate with internal departments to identify procurement requirements.
• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
• Evaluate offers based on price, quality, specifications, and delivery terms.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules within approved authority limits.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and related procurement documents.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and company standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality or delivery.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier data.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
• Manage procurement risks and ensure continuity of supply.

Desired Candidate Profile

Profile, Qualifications Competencies and Skills

• Bachelor s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional proficiency in English (B2 level).
• Minimum three (3) years experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Good understanding of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
