About the role

This role involves managing customer orders, forecasts, and ERP/MRP data while planning and releasing purchase orders based on customer demand and material requirements. You will monitor supplier deliveries, develop material plans, and coordinate with production to meet customer delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer orders, forecasts, and maintain ERP/MRP data accurately
• Plan and release purchase orders based on customer demand and material requirements
• Monitor supplier deliveries to ensure on-time material availability
• Develop material plans and supplier forecasts to support production requirements
• Coordinate with Production to prioritize build plans and meet customer delivery schedules
• Communicate with customers and suppliers on order status, demand changes, and delivery commitments
• Monitor inventory levels, including slow-moving, excess, and quarantine stock, and drive improvement actions
• Support shipment planning to achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets
• Manage indirect purchasing activities and monitor supplier performance
• Participate in supplier audits, performance reviews, and supplier relationship management

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience in electronics, medical device, OEM, or EMS manufacturing
• Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of material planning, inventory control, and supplier management
• Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 is an advantage
