About the Role

Q-Edge Corporation, a Foxconn Technology Group company, is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for raw material purchasing, inventory planning, import/export coordination, and supplier management to ensure uninterrupted production. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials and ensure suppliers meet delivery commitments
• Manage material forecasts, backlog reports, and maintain accurate supply plans in SAP for MRP
• Coordinate Supply, Demand, and Inventory (PSI) reports with Material Control (MC) to monitor material coverage
• Maintain raw material lead times based on customer procurement strategies
• Meet regularly with Material Program Management (MPM) teams to provide updates on material supply plans
• Coordinate bonded material imports and exports within Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) and manage the RMA process
• Resolve material shortages and support cross-factory material transfers
• Track shipment schedules, including ETD (Estimated Time of Departure) and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)
• Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth supply chain operations

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field
• 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred

• Experience working with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
• Experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment
• Knowledge of import/export processes and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations

Working Conditions

• Office-based position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Occasional overtime or non-core working hours may be required to support business operations and urgent supply chain needs
• Ability to respond to after-hours operational issues when necessary
