Buyer

Role Description This full-time Buyer role at Onda S.r.l. is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of products and materials. The Buyer will identify and evaluate suppliers, request and compare quotations, negotiate prices and terms, and prepare purchase orders in line with company policies. Daily tasks include monitoring stock levels, analyzing demand, coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams, and tracking delivery schedules to prevent stockouts or overstock. The Buyer will also maintain supplier relationships, resolve order or quality issues, update procurement data in internal systems, and collaborate with finance and operations to support budget compliance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage purchasing cycles, including supplier selection, quotation requests, and purchase order creation.
• Strong skills in price negotiation, contract terms evaluation, and cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.
• Competence in inventory monitoring, demand analysis, and basic forecasting to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and ERP or procurement software for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
• Attention to detail for reviewing order accuracy, delivery documents, and resolving discrepancies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers, logistics, finance, and internal stakeholders.
• Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize multiple purchasing requests and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently also in a remote environment, demonstrating reliability, initiative, and accountability.
• Relevant experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement; experience in dental or medical products is an advantage.
• Preferred educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
