About this vacancy

As a purchaser at TMC, you will become part of our team in Örebro and work alongside some of the region's most exciting industrial companies. You will drive and develop the purchasing efforts at our clients by ensuring competitive supplier solutions, strong business relationships, and efficient procurement processes.

The projects vary across different industries and businesses, which means you will have the opportunity to work with everything from operational purchasing to strategic sourcing and supplier development.

Your tasks may include:

Responsibility for the procurement of materials, components, services, or investments.

Ensuring the right balance between cost, quality, and delivery capability.

Developing and maintaining relationships with existing suppliers.

Participating in or leading negotiations and procurements.

Identifying and implementing improvements within the purchasing and supply chain.

Analyzing the supplier market and contributing to long-term purchasing strategies.

Preparing decision-making materials, cost analyses, and follow-ups.

If you also have experience in supplier development, global sourcing, contract negotiation, or strategic procurement, we consider it an advantage.

What we expect from you

We are looking for candidates with a university or master's degree, preferably in industrial engineering and management, logistics, supply chain, or equivalent, along with several years of experience in procurement within the manufacturing industry.

You are business-oriented, analytical, and enjoy a role where you can combine structure with relationship building. You have experience in negotiations, supplier management, and cost work, while also having the ability to drive activities forward and achieve results in collaboration with various functions.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

At least five years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.

Experience from the manufacturing industry.

A solid understanding of the supplier market and commercial agreements.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
