Toyota Boshoku Europe – Poland is the newly opened branch of Toyota Boshoku Europe, the Europe & Africa headquarters of Toyota Boshoku. The Wrocław branch plays an important role towards Toyota Boshoku Europe’s expansion strategy, while strengthening Toyota Boshoku’s footprint in the EA region.

Currently we are looking for a Buyer in our office in Wroclaw center .

Job description:

• Commercial management of Car seat and interior components and materials suppliers such as Metal, Plastic, Polyurethane and Textile commodities.
• Control & manage the suppliers based on suppliers’ performance on safety, compliance, quality, cost & delivery.
• Create & execute sourcing strategies.
• Investigate new parts and materials suppliers for new and running projects
• Conduct supplier selections and price negotiations based on project requirements and time schedules, and report results to management
• Conduct price negotiation for “annual price review” activity
• Monitor raw material market and engineering changes and reflect to purchasing costs
• Manage commercial problem solving activities between suppliers and plants
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for design/development of outsourced parts for new projects and localization activities
• Propose and execute cost reduction activities for outsourced parts and materials
• Reports to Assistant Manager of Buyer team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics or engineering
• Commercial and/or project experience in automotive industry
• Experience in manufacturing process is a plus and eagerness to learn new production methods
• Fluent in English, German considered as a plus
• Valid “B” Driving license, confident to drive
• Open to travel for short & mid term
• Flexibility and adaptability are very strong assets for this function
• Able to build sustainable and professional relationships
• Good negotiation skills in a result-oriented way
• A real team-player in a multinational organization
