If you have sharp Excel skills, a proactive mindset, and love using data to solve practical problems and improve day-to-day operations, this is a great hands-on opportunity to make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Execution & Tracking: Raise, monitor, and process purchase orders (POs) efficiently while ensuring policy compliance and accuracy.
- Supplier Coordination: Actively follow up with suppliers on lead times and order statuses to ensure materials arrive on time for ongoing projects.
- Data & Spreadsheet Management: Maintain Excel tracking sheets, analyze order workflows, and prepare practical reports to identify and clear bottlenecks.
- Process Optimization: Help streamline procurement administration to reduce backlogs and improve overall team throughput.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and accounts teams to resolve delivery delays or invoice discrepancies quickly.
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant Experience: 3+ years in procurement support, supply chain analysis, operations coordination, or project support (exposure to manufacturing or technical environments is a plus).
- Strong Excel Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (data tracking, reporting, formatting) combined with a logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Proactive & Solution-Oriented: A self-starter who takes initiative, follows up persistently, and naturally looks for ways to improve workflows.
- Detail-Driven: High level of accuracy and meticulous organizational skills when handling high volumes of data.
- Background: A qualification or background in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or Business Administration is highly regarded.
Benefits:
- Innovative Environment: Gain valuable experience working alongside a collaborative, high-performing team in a cutting-edge industry.
- Direct Impact: Play a key role in clearing operational friction and directly improving team efficiency.
- Convenience: Free on-site parking and easy access to public transport at our Mt Wellington site.
- Future Opportunity: Potential contract extension based on performance and ongoing business requirements
