You will be joining a global technology and innovation leader that delivers advanced manufacturing and supply chain solutions for the world's leading technology companies. The position is based in Kulim, Kedah.

Your new role

As a Buyer, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage procurement of materials, parts, and services to support production and business operations.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted supply and on-time delivery.
• Review purchase requisitions, evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, and execute purchasing activities through MRP systems.
• Source materials for new product introductions while managing inventory levels, supplier performance, and cost controls.
• Resolve supply chain issues including shortages, allocations, material discrepancies, and alternative sourcing requirements.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, drive supplier performance improvements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support procurement compliance, audit activities, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with SCM and ISO standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, supplier management, and materials planning.
• Understanding of electronic manufacturing environments, materials, and production processes is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with SCM policies, procedures, ERP systems, and ISO standards
