Role Summary:
Responsible for identifying, negotiating, and executing procurement and sub-contracts activities with a technical and engineering focus. Manages vendor qualification and performance to ensure compliance with company requirements and project goals, while optimizing efficiency and minimizing costs.

What Youll Do:

• Establish and develop a preferred and standardized vendor pool
• Negotiate purchasing agreements with vendors across standard product lines
• Locate and vet integration, fabrication, and OEM goods vendor resources domestically and internationally
• Manage Bid Tabs and Levelling Sheets for procurement
• Draft and maintain vendor subcontract agreement templates and MSAs
• Collaborate with Project Teams and Finance on inventory management, purchasing policy, and pricing control
• Facilitate and adhere to procurement policies and best practices
• Manage material cost and schedule impacts of engineering changes
• Promote health and safety, participate in Safety Committee, and ensure OSHA and company policy compliance
• Ensure vendor compliance with insurance requirements and monitor for necessary modifications
• Support project management with procurement planning, cost budgets, and forecasts
• Minimize risk and ensure quality and financial compliance in procurement activities

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):

• Bachelor s degree in Technical Engineering discipline, Materials Management and Subcontracts, or equivalent experience
• 6-8 years experience in Procurement and Subcontracts Administration in a large Project organization
• Experience with material planning systems (MRP/ERP) and order generation processes
• Thorough understanding of procurement and subcontracts concepts: production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations
• Experience with international land, air, and ocean transit logistics and customs documentation management
• Ability to work in a high energy, start-up environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):

• Experience in wastewater, chemical processing, and/or oil/gas systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Technical Engineering discipline, Materials Management and Subcontracts, or demonstrated commensurate experience
