About the role

INOVUS BUILDING SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer / Purchasing Staff to support the procurement requirements of our construction and semiconductor projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, securing competitive quotations, processing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.

Key responsibilities

• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for project and operational requirements.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requests (PRs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and related procurement documentation.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
• Coordinate with project teams, engineering, warehouse, and finance departments regarding procurement requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify alternative sources when necessary.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in cost reduction initiatives and procurement planning activities.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain functions.
• Experience in construction, engineering, HVAC, MEPF, industrial, or semiconductor industries is highly preferred.
• Experience purchasing construction materials, electrical materials, mechanical equipment, industrial supplies, or project-related materials is an advantage.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple procurement requirements.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
