Buyer Section Manager

·        Lead and manage the Purchasing/Buyer team to ensure effective procurement activities.

·        Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company business objectives.

·        Conduct market and cost benchmarking to evaluate material prices, supplier competitiveness, and purchasing performance against industry standards and market trends.

·        Establish and maintain benchmarking databases for material costs, supplier pricing, commercial conditions, and cost competitiveness.

·        Analyze benchmarking results and identify opportunities for cost reduction, cost avoidance, and purchasing optimization.

·        Compare supplier quotations, market prices , and purchasing conditions to support sourcing and negotiation decisions.

·        Manage supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and performance improvement.

·        Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery conditions, and other commercial agreements with suppliers.

·        Monitor purchasing costs and develop action plans to achieve annual cost-saving targets.

·        Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Logistics, Finance and other relevant departments to optimize purchasing and supply chain performance.

·        Support new project launches, including sourcing activities, supplier nominations, cost analysis, and project timing.

·        Monitor supplier risks and resolve issues related to cost, quality, delivery, and capacity.

·        Prepare and present purchasing performance, benchmarking, cost-saving, and supplier performance reports to management.

·        Lead, coach, and develop the buyer team to improve purchasing capabilities and performance.

Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
