Buyer/Procurement Engineering

About the role

As an Buyer /Procurement Engineering at Hana Microelectronics Public Company Limited, you will play a crucial role in the company's global procurement operations. This full-time position is based in Lamphun and involves sourcing materials and components from international suppliers to support the company's manufacturing activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for Buyer /Procurement Engineering

• Sources suppliers for new purchasing requirements
• Develops additional sources of suppliers for existing purchasing requirement.
• Provides services to requestors for new product & service Negotiates and monitors prices, payment terms, conditions and delivery lead time with suppliers
• Places orders & expedites delivery of purchased goods from suppliers.

Monitors supplier's quality, delivery and customer service performance

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as production, logistics and finance
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cost savings in the supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Business Administration or other fields may be considered)
• Significant experience (2+ years) in Procurement Engineering, international procurement, or buying role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with global suppliers
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems
• Working knowledge of supply chain management practices and logistics
• Able to work in Lamphun province
