About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Buying Merchandiser to manage material sourcing, vendor coordination, purchase planning, and timely procurement of materials required for production while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, accessories, trims, and other production requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain purchasing records.
• Coordinate with the production, design, and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up on pending orders.
• Ensure materials meet quality standards and approved specifications.
• Track inventory levels, purchase costs, and material consumption.
• Maintain vendor databases and prepare purchase reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in buying, merchandising, procurement, or sourcing, preferably in fashion, jewellery, or accessories.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
