Buyside Equity Analyst Midcaps

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst with a strong focus on the Midcap sector. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth market understanding, strong analytical ability, and a proven record of generating actionable investment ideas for long-only portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct bottom-up research within the Midcap universe across diverse sector
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks
• Track earnings, management commentary, and key sector and company-specific trends
• Generate differentiated investment ideas and recommendations
• Prepare internal research notes and investment memos
• Participate in management meetings and investor interactions
• Collaborate with portfolio managers on stock selection and portfolio construction
• Monitor portfolio performance and update views regularly

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-15 years of experience in Equity Research / Investment Analysis, preferably on the buyside (PMS, AIF, MF, Family Office)
• Deep understanding of Midcap companies and familiarity with identifying scalable business models and early growth opportunities
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation skills
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities
• MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred
