C++ Developer - Banking Trading System

Context

The primary function of the Deal Capture IRG domain is to support, maintain, and enhance an application called STAR. STAR is a trade processing system responsible for the deal capture of Interest Rates Derivatives (IRD), Futures, and Bonds, and the subsequent passing of the trades through Middle Office to Back Office. STAR is the backbone of the Trade Processing IT suite.

Software development is performed in London and Mumbai. The team consists of 23 software developers and 14 business analysts across both locations.

Missions

• Development of new enhancements as requested by the business (this could be from Front, Middle, or Back Office). Enhancements can be in the form of new financial products, new booking methods, improving functionality, reacting to audit points, regulatory requirements, etc.

• Maintenance – bug fixing, intra-day technical support, and overnight 3rd line support.

• C++ (Visual Studio 2015) and C#.NET 4.6.1 in a Windows environment

• CppUnit for unit testing

• Python and Robot for automated regression testing

• Oracle 12c, SQL, and stored procedures
