C++ Developer | Crypto Trading Engine

Algocor is looking for a C++ Developer | Crypto Trading Engine to join our engineering team and work on high-performance systems powering our crypto trading infrastructure.

Algocor is a financial sciences company building advanced technology systems for capital markets and algorithmic trading. Our work brings together research, engineering, execution, market data, and AI-enabled infrastructure.

In this role, you will work on the core systems behind our crypto trading environment — connecting exchanges, processing real-time market data, managing order execution, and building reliable infrastructure for 24/7 markets.

We are looking for someone with strong modern C++ expertise, solid Linux systems programming knowledge, and a genuine interest in crypto markets and high-performance trading systems.

This is not a blockchain or smart contract development role. It is a systems engineering role focused on market connectivity, market data, execution, performance, and reliability.

What You’ll Work On

You will contribute to Algocor’s crypto trading engine and the infrastructure connecting our research and trading systems to digital asset markets.

Your work will include:

• Developing high-performance trading systems using modern C++
• Building and maintaining connectivity to cryptocurrency exchanges
• Developing exchange adapters for market data and order execution
• Processing real-time order books, trades, quotes, and market events
• Building reliable order management and execution components
• Working with WebSocket, REST, sockets, and exchange APIs
• Handling reconnect logic, sequencing, rate limits, and data consistency
• Optimizing latency, throughput, memory allocation, and concurrency
• Building resilient systems for network failures and exchange interruptions
• Profiling, debugging, and optimizing performance-sensitive components
• Working closely with Quant Research and Trading teams to move strategies into live execution
• Improving system reliability, monitoring, and observability

What We’re Looking For

Strong modern C++ expertise

Hands-on experience with modern C++, ideally C++17 or later, with a focus on clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Linux systems programming

Strong understanding of processes, threads, memory management, I/O, and system-level programming.

Performance-oriented engineering mindset

Understanding of latency, throughput, profiling, debugging, memory behavior, and optimization trade-offs.

Concurrency and networking

Experience with multithreading, synchronization, sockets, asynchronous communication, and real-time data streams.

Production reliability mindset

Ability to design systems that behave predictably when connections drop, external APIs fail, data arrives unexpectedly, or systems need to recover.

Interest in crypto trading systems

Genuine curiosity about digital asset markets, exchanges, order books, market data, and electronic execution.

Nice to Have

• Experience with crypto exchange connectivity or trading infrastructure
• Familiarity with exchanges such as Binance, OKX, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, Deribit, or similar venues
• Experience with electronic trading, HFT, market making, or algorithmic execution
• Knowledge of order books, market data normalization, and order management systems
• Experience with multi-exchange trading environments
• Knowledge of lock-free programming or low-latency networking
• Python experience for tooling, testing, or research integration
• Familiarity with observability and production monitoring

You will work on the systems that connect Algocor’s trading environment to crypto markets — where performance, data integrity, execution quality, and reliability are part of the core engineering problem.
