Our client is a technology company delivering solutions and user experience for governmental organizations, empowering teams of data analysts to identify and resolve issues faster and more efficiently, while enabling managers to optimize operations. They are a team of talented, creative, and dedicated individuals with a passion for delivering innovative solutions to market, and they're growing fast. They're now looking for an experienced C++ Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, optimize and integrate software for embedded, real-time applications
• Participate in the product development lifecycle from inception and design through bring-up, optimization, and verification
• Apply good design principles for software development
• Implement algorithms developed from the domain
• Design and implement tests and test interfaces to validate your code

Requirements:

• M.Sc. in Computer Engineering or similar
• 10+ years of proven software development experience
• Extensive proven experience programming C++, including modern standards
• Strong knowledge of OOP design principles
• Extensive experience with Linux (Ubuntu desirable)
• Extensive experience with multi-threaded, real-time software design, implementation, and debugging
• Familiarity with standard software development tools: git, a bug tracker (e.g. Jira), and a package manager (e.g. Conan)

Bonus Skills:

• Programming in C and/or Python
• Familiarity with Docker
