C-HIL Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced C-HIL Test Engineer to join an automotive engineering team in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, C programming, and power electronics, with a strong background in automotive testing and validation.

Location: Hamamatsucho, Tokyo, Japan

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: ¥6,000,000 – ¥13,000,000 per year (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute HIL test cases and validation activities.

• Perform testing and verification of automotive control systems.

• Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues.

• Develop and maintain test scripts where applicable.

• Work closely with development teams to improve product quality.

• Prepare technical documentation and test reports.

Requirements:

• 4–5+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with HIL testing.

• Native-level Japanese.

• English at Daily Conversation level or above.

• Automotive OEM or Tier-1 experience.
