About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Qt Architect to lead the architecture, design, and development of next-generation software solutions for medical and healthcare devices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Qt/C++ application development, embedded systems, and medical device software, with a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and software quality standards.This role requires technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and close collaboration with cross-functional engineering, product management, quality, and regulatory teams to deliver high-quality, compliant healthcare solutions.Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the software architecture for Qt-based healthcare and medical device applications.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance GUI applications using Qt Framework and Modern C++.
• Lead end-to-end software architecture from requirements analysis through deployment and maintenance.
• Architect reusable software components and frameworks for multiple healthcare products.
• Drive system design reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, system, QA, regulatory, and product teams.
• Ensure software complies with healthcare regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Define software coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices.
• Lead performance optimization, memory management, and system reliability improvements.
• Mentor senior engineers and development teams on Qt architecture and software engineering practices.
• Participate in risk analysis, software verification, validation, and design documentation.
• Support product lifecycle activities including maintenance, feature enhancements, and defect resolution.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements.

Required Technical SkillsCore Skills

• 4-12+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Qt Framework (Qt5/Qt6).
• Expert-level proficiency in Modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
• Strong experience in object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Expertise in QML, Qt Widgets, Qt Quick, Qt Creator, and Qt Design Studio.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, IPC, and event-driven programming.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
