Job Description

We are seeking a CA-qualified Financial Controller / Deputy Finance Controller with 12+ years of strong experience in Finance & Accounts to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.

Candidates with strong experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Metals & Mining, Iron & Steel, Heavy Engineering, or large-scale manufacturing will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Finance & Accounts operations.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, and payables.
• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance.
• Prepare MIS, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
• Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.
• Support senior management in financial and strategic decision-making.

Required Candidate Profile

• CA qualification is mandatory.

• 12+ years of relevant Finance & Accounts experience.

• Strong experience in industrial / manufacturing organizations.

• Metals & Mining

• Iron & Steel

• Heavy Engineering

• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting, reporting, controls, and compliance.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Must be willing to relocate to Lagos, Nigeria.

• Must be willing to work 100% onsite.
