Position: CA Inter (Chartered Accountancy Intermediate)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical CA Inter candidate to manage accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, reconciliations, and other finance-related activities.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial analysis, preferably with experience in a manufacturing or trading business.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Supervise day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Review purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, and expense entries.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledgers.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and other account reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.

2. GST & Tax Compliance

• Handle GST-related work, including preparation and reconciliation of returns.
• Reconcile GSTR-2B with the purchase register and identify discrepancies.
• Verify GST invoices, GSTINs, tax rates, and HSN/SAC codes.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return-related documentation.
• Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants for statutory filings and assessments.

3. Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Prepare expense summaries, outstanding reports, and ageing analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and working capital.
• Analyze financial data and highlight discrepancies or unusual expenses.
• Support management with financial information for business decisions.

4. Costing & Inventory Accounting

• Assist in product costing and cost analysis.
• Monitor raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods accounting.
• Reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
• Analyze material consumption, production costs, and wastage.
• Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, and Production to resolve discrepancies.

5. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Monitor vendor payments and customer outstanding balances.
• Verify invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
• Maintain payment schedules and follow up on overdue receivables.
• Ensure proper authorization and documentation for financial transactions.

6. Audit & Internal Controls

• Assist with internal, statutory, and tax audits.
• Maintain audit schedules, supporting documents, and reconciliations.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures.
• Support improvements in financial controls and documentation.

7. Export & Banking Documentation

• Maintain accounting records for domestic and export transactions.
• Assist with export invoice accounting and payment reconciliation.
• Coordinate with banks and consultants for export-related documentation.
• Maintain records of foreign currency receipts and related transactions.

8. ERP & Process Improvement

• Work with accounting software such as Tally Prime, Odoo, or Zoho Books.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
• Improve accounting workflows and reporting procedures.
• Use MS Excel for reconciliations, analysis, and reporting.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• CA Intermediate cleared from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
• Relevant experience in accounting, taxation, or finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation.
• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting ERP software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing, trading, or export-oriented company.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and product costing.
• Experience with GSTR-2B reconciliation.
• Knowledge of export accounting and foreign currency transactions.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and Chartered Accountants.

Salary

Salary: To be decided based on qualification, experience, technical knowledge, and overall suitability for the role.

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
