Cabinet Installer (Technician)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Cabinet Installer (Technician) for our shop in Columbus. The Installer is responsible for executing all field work related to cabinet removal, installation, and job completion. This role ensures high-quality onsite execution, proper handling of cabinets and materials, and a professional customer experience. The Installer also supports shop operations when needed to maintain production flow.

Responsibilities

• Perform cabinet installation and reinstallation
• Execute Emergency Cabinet Removal (ECR) processes
• Build and install support stands and bracing systems
• Complete cabinet intake breakdown and documentation
• Perform deliveries and pickups of cabinets and materials
• Complete ECR and installation checklists
• Obtain Certificate of Satisfaction (COS) signatures from customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles
• Ensure proper handling and protection of customer property
• Assist with shop production tasks, including cabinet building and finishing, as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in cabinet installation, carpentry, woodworking, countertop installation, or construction
• Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail in installation work
• Ability to read and execute installation plans and layouts
• Demonstrates consistent adherence to job site and shop safety protocols, including proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) while maintaining a safe working environment for self and others
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and install cabinetry safely
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Professional demeanor when interacting with customers on-site
• Ability to work independently and as part of a field team

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
