Innovative Carpentry is hiring a Cabinet Installer/Maker to build, assemble, and install custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. This role combines cabinet fabrication with onsite installation, requiring accurate measurements, quality craftsmanship, safe tool use, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and assemble custom cabinets and wood components
• Measure, cut, shape, and prepare materials according to project specifications
• Read and interpret cabinet drawings, layouts, measurements, and installation plans
• Operate woodworking hand and power tools safely
• Assemble cabinet boxes, doors, drawers, frames, and hardware
• Install cabinets accurately and securely at residential or commercial jobsites
• Level, align, adjust, and secure cabinets for proper fit and finish
• Install or assist with cabinet hardware, trim, molding, and related components
• Inspect completed cabinetry for quality, alignment, functionality, and appearance
• Maintain organized tools, materials, workshop areas, and job sites
• Communicate installation issues, material requirements, or project changes to supervisors
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company quality standards

Requirements

• Previous cabinetmaking, carpentry, woodworking, or cabinet installation experience preferred
• Strong ability to read measurements and follow project specifications
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Ability to lift, carry, and position cabinetry and materials safely

Preferred Skills

• Experience with custom kitchen, bathroom, or built-in cabinetry
• Knowledge of cabinet construction, hardware, and installation techniques
• Strong measuring, leveling, cutting, and fitting skills
• Familiarity with residential remodeling and construction job sites
• Good problem-solving and adjustment skills
• Ability to maintain professional customer interactions onsite
