Cabinet maker/ assembler

About the role

Wardrobes Direct is seeking an experienced cabinet maker or experienced wood working machine operator to join our production team. You will be part of a hard working and efficient team involved in manufacturing and assembly of cabinetry and wardrobe sliding doors as well as helping with delivery and installation of our products.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacturing and assembly of cabinetry and wardrobe sliding doors
• Helping with delivery and installation of products
• Operating wood working machinery
• Heavy lifting as required

About you

• Prior experience with assembly of cabinetry or working with aluminum joinery required
• Experience with wood working machinery including Edge banders, CNC's and panel saws an advantage
• Rights to live and work in New Zealand
• Full Clean NZ drivers license (may need to assist with deliveries and movement of products)
• Honest and Reliable
• Keen to get stuck in with a positive attitude
• Level of fitness necessary due to the nature of products and heavy lifting required

Our friendly team require some support in our production facilities assembling cabinetry and wardrobe sliding doors as well as helping with delivery and installation of our products.

*Silverdale & Albany Based facilities
