Cabinet Maker

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with the ability to create high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces. This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of power tools. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with clients and team members to ensure that projects are completed to specifications and within deadlines.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Construct, assemble, and install cabinets and other wooden structures according to design plans.
• Utilize various power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including those involved in masonry, painting, and plumbing tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets industry standards.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role is preferred.
• Strong skills in installation techniques, construction estimating, and blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with masonry work, construction painting, and maintenance person tasks is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy materials safely and effectively.
• Proficiency in the use of power tools essential for cabinet making.
• A keen eye for detail with a commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
