Cabinet Maker

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and woodwork that meet precise specifications and client expectations. Your expertise in woodworking, blueprint interpretation, and use of hand and power tools will be essential to delivering exceptional craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to residential projects, remodeling efforts, and restoration work, ensuring each piece is built with precision, durability, and aesthetic appeal.

Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute cabinet designs and other woodwork projects
• Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinetry components
• Operate woodworking machines such as saws, sanders, drills, and routers safely and efficiently
• Measure materials precisely to ensure proper fit and function of cabinets and related wood structures
• Install cabinets, fixtures, doors, trim, drywall, stucco, moldings, and other wood components on-site with attention to detail
• Perform finishing tasks including caulking, staining, sealing, and polishing to achieve a professional look
• Assist in remodeling projects by providing carpentry support such as framing, rebar installation for structural integrity, or water damage restoration when needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry or woodworking with a focus on residential projects
• Strong knowledge of construction plans and interpreting technical drawings accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools for woodworking (drills, sanders, routers)
• Familiarity with woodworking machines and heavy lifting techniques required for large or heavy materials
• Understanding of construction site safety protocols related to power tool use and general carpentry practices
• Experience working on construction sites with exposure to drywall installation, plastering, stucco application or mold remediation is a plus
• Ability to perform precise measurements and detailed craftsmanship in alignment with project specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly during remodeling or restoration tasks
