Cabinet Maker

About the role

Cabinet Makers will be responsible for assembling cabinetry and joinery components according to production drawings, specifications, and company quality standards. The role involves working with pre-cut panels, hardware, and fittings to produce high-quality cabinets efficiently and safely within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble cabinet carcasses, doors, drawers, and internal components
• Install hardware including hinges, drawer runners, handles, and shelf supports
• Follow production drawings and assembly instructions accurately
• Ensure all cabinets are square, aligned, and structurally sound
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
• Prepare components and materials before assembly
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Inspect assembled cabinets for defects or errors
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

About you

• Minimum 3 years experience assembling custom cabinets, furniture, or joinery products
• Ability to read production drawings
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift cabinet components and panels
• Standing for extended periods
• Manual handling of materials and assembled cabinets
