Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cabinet Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and woodwork, transforming technical drawings into beautifully finished products. Your expertise will contribute to commercial and residential projects. Duties

• Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately guide cabinet fabrication and installation.
• Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinetry components with precision.
• Operate woodworking machines such as saws, sanders, and drills safely and efficiently to produce high-quality results.
• Measure spaces accurately on-site for custom fitting of cabinets, trim, siding, and fixtures in residential settings.
• Install cabinetry, doors, moldings, drywall finishing touches, and other wood construction materials on-site.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products while maintaining safety protocols for power tool safety and construction site standards.
• Assist with remodeling projects by providing skilled carpentry work including flooring installation, stucco application, rebar installation, caulking, plastering, and reinstallation of fixtures.
• Contribute to restoration projects by handling tasks such as mold remediation or siding replacement with attention to detail.
• Ensure all work complies with construction plans and industry best practices while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, woodworking or residential carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of wood construction materials including drywall, siding, trim carpentry, doors, and flooring installation.
• Familiarity with woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders along with woodworking machines.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and translate them into precise craftsmanship.
• Prior construction site experience with an understanding of heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures related to power tools.
• Experience in remodeling or restoration industry projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of caulking, stucco application, plastering techniques along with fixture installation skills like door hanging or mold remediation is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety standards including power tool safety protocols.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
