Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling of custom cabinets and woodwork that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in woodworking, blueprint interpretation, and use of hand and power tools will ensure high-quality craftsmanship on every project. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and wood fixtures.
• Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machines, and woodworking machines.
• Fabricate custom components such as moldings, trim, siding, and fixtures with attention to detail.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and handling heavy lifting with proper technique.
• Collaborate with shop manager to ensure project specifications are met efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking within residential or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, drills), power tools for woodworking (routers, sanders), CNC equipment, and woodworking machines.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of wood construction materials such as plywoods, MDFs (medium-density fiberboards), veneers, laminates; understanding of fixture installation techniques including door hanging and hardware setup.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately under tight deadlines.

Pay: $27.27 - $32.84 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
