Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and woodwork for residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in woodworking, blueprint reading, and construction techniques will ensure high-quality craftsmanship that meets client specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities

• Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately produce custom cabinetry and woodwork.
• Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinet components.
• Measure and mark materials precisely to ensure proper fit and alignment during assembly and installation.
• Install cabinets, fixtures, doors, trim, siding, drywall, and other wood or metal components on-site with attention to detail.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed for transporting materials and finished products safely around the workspace or job site.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects according to specifications.

Experience

• Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking within the construction or restoration industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans.
• Hands-on experience with construction site work including framing, drywall installation, plastering, rebar installation, stucco application, masonry work, flooring installation, and reinstallation of fixtures.
• Familiarity with wood construction materials such as plywood, MDF, hardwoods, veneers, siding materials, and related products.
• Skilled in using woodworking tools including saws (table saws, miter saws), drills, sanders, routers; plus power tool safety practices.
• Experience with metal stud framing and drywall finishing is a plus.
• Knowledge of restoration processes including water damage restoration and mold remediation is advantageous.
• Ability to perform remodeling tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, caulking, siding application, heavy lifting tasks and working on various construction sites confidently.

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
