Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently crafting high-quality custom free-standing furniture. Working from precise shop drawings, your expertise in woodworking, blueprint interpretation, and the use of hand tools and professional woodwork machines will ensure each project is completed to the highest standard of excellence. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to accurately realize the structural and design intents embodied therein.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines to cut, shape, and assemble wooden furniture components.
• Measure materials precisely and determine project material needs.
• Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed at all times during fabrication processes.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely.
• Collaborate with project managers and co-workers to ensure timely completion of projects within specifications.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years professional experience in cabinet and/or furniture making.
• Mastery of traditional solid wood joinery, including mortise and tenon joinery, hand and machine cut dovetail joinery
• Mastery of veneer work, including sunburst layouts and fabrication of bent laminates
• Complete fluency and comfort with all woodworking machines and hand tools used in furniture fabrication.

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
