Cabinet Maker

Heartwood Kitchen and Bath is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in cabinet making or a similar field, with strong woodworking skills and the ability to fabricate custom cabinetry and millwork to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom cabinets and millwork with precision and attention to detail.
• Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Work with various materials, including plywood, MDF, hardwood, laminates, melamine, paints, and wood stains.
• Install cabinet hardware and ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
• Perform on-site cabinet installation, adjustments, repairs, and finishing touch-ups.
• Repair and restore existing cabinets for remodeling and renovation projects.
• Troubleshoot fabrication and installation issues and ensure all work meets company quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in cabinet making or a similar field.
• Proven skills in custom cabinet fabrication and woodworking.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking materials, finishes, hardware, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in woodworking machinery, tools, and hardware installation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines and programming.
• Experience with natural and engineered stone countertop installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
