Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cabinet Maker/Millworker (Master Fabricator) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting custom cabinetry, millwork, and wood fixtures with precision and craftsmanship. Duties

• Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately fabricate cabinetry and millwork components.
• Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood materials.
• Measure, cut, assemble, sand, stain, and finish custom cabinetry and wood fixtures with precision.
• Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure specifications are met throughout the fabrication process.
• Install finished products on-site, including doors, trim, siding, fixtures, and other wood components in residential or commercial settings.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure all work aligns with safety standards and client specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to power tool safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, woodworking, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of construction plans, technical drawings, and interpreting complex technical documents.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills; power tools for woodworking; and woodworking machines like planers and routers.
• Experience with residential carpentry including trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, drywall finishing, caulking, stucco work, rebar installation, plastering or mold remediation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with construction site procedures including heavy lifting and working at heights when necessary.
• Ability to perform remodeling projects involving tile laying or siding installation as needed.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and materials such as wood construction materials; understanding of water damage restoration is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Commitment to safety practices related to power tool operation and construction site protocols.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
