Role Description The Cable Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Colorado Springs, CO, responsible for overseeing cable installation and telecommunications infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. This role plans project timelines, coordinates resources, and manages budgets while ensuring work meets technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling crews, tracking materials, collaborating with expeditors and logistics personnel, and maintaining clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The Cable Project Manager conducts on-site inspections, resolves issues that may impact project delivery, and ensures compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves maintaining project documentation, preparing status reports, and continuously improving processes for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Project coordination and oversight skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.
• Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely movement of materials, equipment, and documentation across multiple sites.
• Inspection capabilities to verify cable and infrastructure work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Logistics Management skills to organize crews, transportation, and material handling for field operations.
• Knowledge of telecommunications or cable installation practices and relevant codes or regulations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to work on-site in varying field conditions, including managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with project management software and standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling applications).
• Relevant education or training in engineering, construction management, telecommunications, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
