CABLE SUPERVISOR

To manage and control cable stock, ensure accurate cable allocation, maintain proper storage and records, and ensure cables are issued and received efficiently according to operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cable stock and storage activities.
• Maintain proper control of cable inventory in the yard/store.
• Allocate cables to different projects, machines or operational requirements.
• Verify cable quantity, type, size and condition before issue.
• Record all cable receipts, issues, returns and transfers.
• Ensure proper identification, tagging and storage of cables.
• Monitor cable availability and inform management about shortages or excess stock.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with records.
• Identify damaged, unused or excess cables and report accordingly.
• Ensure cables are stored safely and properly to prevent damage or loss.
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Workshop and other departments for cable requirements.
• Monitor cable movement and ensure proper documentation.
• Supervise the Cable Store Helper and allocate daily duties.
• Prepare daily/weekly cable stock and allocation reports.
• Identify discrepancies and take corrective action after management approval.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained in the cable storage area.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
