Cable Technician

Position: Fiber & Coax Technician
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Work Type: Field / Residential Installation

We are looking for experienced and motivated Fiber & Coax Technicians to join our growing field team. Technicians will perform residential internet installations and service work for major telecommunications providers.

What You'll Do

• Install and service fiber and coaxial cable at residential properties
• Perform cable routing, pulling, termination, and connections
• Install and configure internet equipment and related components
• Troubleshoot connectivity and signal issues
• Work in residential homes, basements, attics, and outdoor areas
• Safely use ladders and hand/power tools
• Complete assigned jobs according to company quality and safety standards
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service

Requirements

• Previous fiber, coax, cable, telecommunications, or residential installation experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of fiber and/or coaxial cable installation
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Comfortable working outdoors and in different weather conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights
• Must have your own basic hand tools
• Working vehicle preferred: Minivan, pickup truck, or SUV — any color
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to assigned job locations
• Ability to pass required background/driving checks, if applicable

1099 Contractor

This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity, not a traditional W-2 employee position.

Technicians are responsible for their own applicable taxes, insurance, tools, and vehicle expenses.

Vehicle

A working minivan, pickup truck, or SUV is preferred. Any vehicle color is acceptable.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,000.00 per week
