Cable Technician

Job Type: Full-Time | 1099 Independent Contractor
Pay: Average starting earnings around $1,500/week, with potential to earn $2,500+ per week based on productivity.

Job Description

MoldCable is a national leader in telecommunications, providing cable, internet, TV, and phone installation services across the U.S*.*

We are currently looking for Cable Technicians in Atlanta, GA. Previous cable experience is preferred but not required. We provide paid training and support to help new technicians get started.

Responsibilities

• Install and service cable, internet, and telecommunications equipment
• Work with coax and fiber-optic cable
• Install and connect customer equipment
• Test connections and troubleshoot service issues
• Work with network equipment and cabling
• Perform residential field service work
• Follow safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License
• Valid Social Security Number/Card
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
• Ability to work with ladders, tools, and equipment
• Basic English communication skills
• Reliable and responsible work ethic
• Suitable vehicle such as a white minivan, pickup truck, or SUV preferred

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with production-based pay. Technicians are paid based on the number and type of jobs completed.

• Average starting earnings: around $1,500/week
• Experienced and productive technicians can earn $2,000–$3,000/week
• Weekly payments after the initial pay cycle

Training

Paid training is provided and typically takes 1–2 weeks, depending on experience and progress. Training compensation is included with the first paycheck after the technician successfully completes training and begins working.
