Shop Attendant – Full Time (40 hours per week)

Cabu Corner is the on-site shop at Cabu by the Lakes. We're looking for a friendly, reliable Shop Attendant to join our team. If you enjoy meeting people and want to work in a beautiful lakeside setting, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role
You'll be the welcoming face of Cabu Corner. You'll help guests and visitors find what they need and keep the shop running smoothly day to day. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, and shifts may include weekends and bank holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide warm, helpful service
• Operate the till, handle cash and card payments, and balance takings at end of shift
• Receive deliveries, stock shelves and rotate products
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and well presented
• Monitor stock levels and report items running low
• Answer questions about the shop and Cabu by the Lakes
• Follow health and safety and food hygiene procedures

What we're looking for

• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine enjoyment of customer service
• Good communication skills
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work on your own initiative
• Flexibility to work a rota that includes weekends
• Retail or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided
