CAD & Visualisation Market Leader

ElectroNet Consulting is looking for an experienced and commercially minded CAD & Visualisation Market Leader to drive the growth, performance, and strategic direction of our CAD & Visualisation Team.

This is a leadership role where you will combine business development, team leadership, and market sector growth while shaping the future of how we deliver innovative visualisation, digital engineering, CAD, and design solutions for our clients across New Zealand's infrastructure and energy sectors.

You will lead a talented team of technical professionals, build strong client relationships, identify new opportunities, help grow the team and ensure our people continue to grow and thrive.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the strategic direction and growth of ElectroNet's CAD & Visualisation market sector
• Developing and strengthening relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities
• Driving sales growth and market expansion
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing technical team
• Supporting team leaders and fostering a positive, engaged team culture
• Ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction
• Contributing to organisational performance through strong commercial and financial leadership
• Championing innovation, continuous improvement, and industry best practice

What you'll bring

• Experience in CAD, visualisation, digital engineering, design delivery, or a related technical discipline
• Proven leadership experience within an engineering consultancy, infrastructure, utilities, or related environment
• Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of business growth strategies
• Demonstrated success developing client relationships and winning work
• The ability to inspire, coach, and empower teams
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• A strategic mindset with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing change and driving continuous improvement initiatives
