CAD CAM Operator / Draftsman

About the role

Create cutting schemes based on engineering drawings, CAD/CAM programs, sales orders and revisions. Arrange and facilitate the distribution of engineering drawings and their revisions to different sections of production. Recommend improvements to cut costs and improve productivity and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Make cutting schemes of units based on drawings, CAD/CAM programs, and production load with accuracy
• Receive drawings from Document Control Center
• Update cutting schemes for engineering changes, program changes, or other factors requiring cutting scheme changes
• Coordinate with other functions concerning cutting scheme revisions or other factors affecting product cutting schemes
• Participate in cost cutting and improvement activities
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by immediate superior

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or graduate of a technical course in Metal Fabrication, Industrial Technology, or related field
• Basic knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD, preferably AutoCAD 2011 or similar version
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software applications
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2011
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Mature, responsible, and accountable
• Flexible and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
